Brut MillésiméRarely vintaged

Laurent‑Perrier is selective when declaring vintages from only the very best years to create a rare and exceptional wine, characteristic of the House’s style.

2012

The 2012 wine year was complicated with winter and spring frosts, hail and cryptogamic diseases, which had an impact on the yield, which was rather moderate. The dry, sunny summer allowed the grapes to ripen to perfection allowing for an exceptional harvest.

Vinification, blending and ageing

  • Grape varieties Chardonnay 50%, Pinot Noir 50%
  • Crus Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs (Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cramant, Chouilly), Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims (Bouzy, Ay, Verzy, Mailly, Rilly-la-Montagne)
  • Ageing 10 years
