Laurent-Perrier was the official champagne partner of the Living Legends of Aviation which took place on August 30 & 31 at the Scalaria Event Resort in Austria.

The event – known as the Oscars of aviation – rewards companies and individuals who have made a significant contribution to aviation and aerospace.

The day before the awards ceremony, The Blues Symphonic Experience – a concept by the Hollywood legend and Grand Siècle face, Morgan Freeman – was held on the shores of Lake Wolfgangsee. It celebrates seaplanes and aviation with a combination of air shows, concerts and fireworks.

The Living Legends of Aviation Awards, founded by Jerry Lips in Los Angeles in 2003, have also become one of the most important events in the industry in Europe. For this 4th edition, a total of 11 winners from aviation, aerospace and business were honored with awards and inducted into the Hall of Fame as Living Legends of Aviation. During the ceremony, Pilatus – one of the winners – was honoured with a video showcasing the company’s achievements. Morgan Freeman, himself a keen aviator, lent his voice to the video.
