Grand Siècle N°23 Magnum launch exclusively at Claridge’s

21 December 2021

Discover Grand Siècle N°23 Magnum exclusively at Claridge’s, Champagne Laurent-Perrier’s latest Grand Siècle iteration sold at Claridge’s Bar.

Originally launched in 1959, Grand Siècle is the inspiration of one man: Bernard de Nonancourt, the late president of Laurent-Perrier. Going beyond rare vintages, Grand Siècle is built upon the art of assemblage, offering what nature can never provide: the perfect year.

Grand Siècle N°23 by Laurent-Perrier

– A blend of 3 exceptional years, complementary in character: 2006 (65%), 2004 (20%), 2002 (15%)

– A blend with a majority of Chardonnay, 58%, supplemented by Pinot Noir, 42%, and selected among 11 of the 17 existing Grands Crus in Champagne.

– A blend benefiting from more than 14 years of ageing in the Cellars.

Available at Claridge’s Bar

– Intense pale yellow colour with highlights evoking the freshness of spring.

– An intense nose with mixed aromas of candied citrus fruit, honey, summer flowers and a few toasted notes.

– The soft attack on the palate coats it with the sensation of silkiness. The finish has the freshness of candied citrus fruit bringing with it length and tension.

“By communicating the benefits of blending, Champagne Laurent-Perrier is consistently seeking to recreate the perfect oenological year, essentially crafting a flawless prestige champagne for our customers to enjoy at Claridge’s Bar this Christmas season”. Daniel Brennan, PR & Communications Director at Champagne Laurent-Perrier
